**Austin Industrial** is seeking an **entry-level Helper** to join our team at a manufacturing facility in **Lincolnton, NC.** This role provides hands-on support to skilled trades and maintenance personnel, ensuring smooth operations and a safe, efficient work environment. On-the-job training is provided, with opportunities for career growth.
This person must assist skilled trades personnel and maintenance staff at a manufacturing facility. This entry-level role involves onsite support, routine maintenance, and ensuring operational readiness.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Assist maintenance and production teams with daily operational needs.
+ Perform routine checks and inspections to identify potential maintenance issues.
+ Support industrial cleanup and housekeeping efforts in production areas, following strict safety protocols.
+ Transport tools, materials, and equipment as needed.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Qualifications:
+ Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members.
+ Strong work ethic and reliability.
+ Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
+ Basic mechanical aptitude or familiarity with hand and power tools (preferred but not required).
Requirements:
+ High school diploma or GED preferred.
+ Experience –Previous experience as a Helper in the manufacturing industry preferred not required.
+ Valid Driver’s License
