Responsibilities and practice

Dentons US LLP is seeking a Managing Associate with excellent academic credentials and 6+ years of experience to join our thriving Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies practice. The person hired for this position will work directly with partners and other team members and will contribute to the practice by assuming such responsibilities as:

+ Contributing to the analysis, coordination, and execution of successful tax structuring transactions

+ Managing a broad range of tax matters, including international supply chain structuring, domestic reorganizations, and fund formations

+ Representing public and private companies, in a variety of corporate, tax, securities and real estate matters

+ Representing buyers, sellers and targets in stock purchases, asset purchases, mergers and joint ventures

+ Structuring transactions involving taxable and tax-free asset and stock acquisitions, divestitures and reorganizations

+ Supporting the practice by performing general research and writing

Pursuant to New York law, the salary range for this position is $390,000 to $440,000, based on experience. Based on years of experience, Dentons US LLP associates may have a title of Associate, Managing Associate, or Senior Managing Associate. Technical skills

+ 6+ years of law or accounting firm experience is required

Other requirements

+ Must be licensed to practice law in the State of New York and be in good standing
