Supply Chain Operational Planning Pool Lead - Berkeley
The Supply Chain Operational Planning Pool Lead will lead the Operational Planning capability pool for a given site or site cluster in Supply Chain planning and steer the development and deployment of capabilities within the pool members. This role involves collaborating with other pool leaders to ensure that the necessary expertise is available within the subcluster pool to fulfill the missions of the Product and Customer teams. Furthermore, this position will play a direct role in supporting the realization of the new Pharma Supply Chain cluster organization and its vision.
Additionally, the role involves shaping the vision, strategy, and development roadmaps for new capabilities within the capability pool, ensuring effective alignment with operational needs, continuous process improvement, and evolving state-of-the-art practices.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSBILITIES
The focus of the pool lead will be to provide the resources and infrastructure needed to plan, produce, and deliver “On-Time and In-Full” from internal production sites to sales affiliates and downstream production nodes. This includes responsibility to build effective capabilities to deliver on: Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling, Materials Purchasing, Production Master Data Management, Inventory Management, Write-Off Management, Capacity Management, Resource Allocation, Performance Monitoring, Collaboration, and Problem Solving.

Additionally, ensures:
+ Required capabilities are continuously developed, standardized, and deployed per Customer and Product team needs in collaboration and alignment with peer subcluster pools.
+ Leads the sub-cluster pool through organizational redesign and adopts new ways of working under DSO to realize the benefits of the new operating model.
+ Collaborates with peer subcluster pool leads to equip the global product and customer teams with the best possible supply chain expertise.
+ Collaborates with peer subcluster pool leads, product, and customer teams for optimal use of our resources and agile response to changing requirements.
+ Creates a #OneTeam community within the subcluster pool, building peer-to-peer networks.
+ Stays updated on market dynamics, customer-related commercial strategies, GxP/compliance regulations, industry trends, technology advancements, competitive landscape, and key operational opportunities to constantly define the vision, strategy, and co-develop capability roadmaps of the subcluster.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance/Economics, or Engineering;

Preferred qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance/Economics, or Engineering, and 14+ years of progressive supply chain/logistics experience, including pharmaceutical operations, or an equivalent combination of education & experience;
+ 6+ years of people leadership experience;
+ Cell and Gene Therapy/Biotech experience
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $ 172,800.00 - $259,200.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, skills, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
