One of our key late-stage pipeline assets, Asundexian, is an oral Factor XIa inhibitor (anti-thrombotic), and is being developed as a potential treatment for secondary stroke prevention in patients who have experienced a non-cardio-embolic ischemic stroke.
The Executive Director/Senior Director, Marketing for Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN) for Asundexian is an exciting opportunity a high-energy individual interested in launching and accelerating the growth of Asundexian. This role will serve as the expert on market & industry trends, customer challenges, and competitive landscape and the regulatory environment influencing the IDN and organized customer segments in stroke neurology and cardiology markets. Specifically, this position will play a lead role in the development of our IDN/organized customer segment strategy as well as the development of our differentiated value proposition and programs designed to position competitively in this ever-changing segment.
This role will drive the IDN business plan, including the development and implementation of annual and revised targeting and segmentation, the identification of new sources of growth and barriers to appropriate initiation of therapy, and the development of resources, tactics and training to support the field-based teams.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
+ Lead the creation of the IDN-specific and organized customer segment strategy, messaging, promotional materials, and promotional education programs for the hospital channels for Asundexian including workshops and tools for field personnel, and tactical applications for end user customers, including HCPs, patients, administrators, and C-suite decision-makers.
+ Work with the market analytics team to develop an in-depth understanding of current customer base, sales trends, growth rates including competitor situation analysis to help inform plans.
+ Partner with field, medical and market access teams to drive hospital formulary and protocol adoption, and contracting decisions and initiatives.
+ Analyze data metrics and information to identify opportunities within existing customers and develop profiles of prospective customers.
+ Candidate will be responsible for the planning and implementation of projects that support the marketing function.
+ Work individually and/or with a cross-functional team in recommending action, scheduling, and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion.
+ May identify, evaluate and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product objectives, provide pre- and post-sale- marketing support to distributor and resellers, and support public relations through researching, writing and editing press releases.

Skills & Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 10 years of experience in marketing, market access, hospital systems, hospital sales, medical or combination of relevant experience;
+ Minimum 5 years of hospital sales and/or hospital marketing experience. Master’s degree and/or Life Sciences degree is preferrable
+ Marketing experience within cardiovascular and/or stroke therapies required. Prior product launch experience strongly preferred with demonstrated success in life cycle management of major indications, with strong understanding of the broader cardiovascular marketplace across the care continuum
+ Proven ability to understand markets and building a complex market model to perform customer segmentation.
+ Prior experience leading the development of an IDN and health system strategy with a deep understanding of successfully marketing products with organized customer groups.
+ Ability to understand customer needs and capability of building value propositions to suit those needs.
+ Proven ability to collaborate with sales, medical, regulatory, legal, category management, supplier management, corporate strategy etc.
+ Excellent presentation skills and proven ability to create influential marketing materials
+ Business experience and experience in managing multiple projects while leading/aligning multiple stakeholders.
+ Solid marketing fundamentals, project management aptitude, strong analytical skills and problem-solving acumen.
+ Ability to lead cross-functional and cross-business unit teams.
+ Thorough knowledge of company products, company functions, marketing or service policies and procedures; excellent communication skills.
+ Ability and willingness to travel nationally and internationally > 20% of the time
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $214,240 - $321,360. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.
This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
