Job Title: Mig/Tig Welder with Jig/Fixture capabilities.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Jig Builder to join our stainless-steel fabrication team. This role involves the design, construction, and maintenance of precision jigs and fixtures used in welding and assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MIG and TIG welding, blueprint reading, and fabrication techniques specific to stainless steel materials.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Design and fabricate custom jigs and fixtures to support efficient and accurate welding and assembly processes.

+ Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel components in accordance with engineering specifications and industry standards.

+ Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine jig requirements.

+ Ensure jigs and fixtures maintain tight tolerances and proper alignment to facilitate consistent production output.

+ Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and production personnel to optimize jig designs and manufacturing workflows.

+ Conduct routine inspections, repairs, and modifications of jigs to maintain performance and extend usability.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications:

+ 3+ years of experience in stainless steel fabrication, including MIG and TIG welding.

+ Proven experience in jig and fixture design/building.

+ Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.

+ Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.

+ Proficient in using hand tools, grinders, cutting equipment, and measuring instruments.

+ Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

+ Welding certification(s) a plus.
