    DESCRIPTION:

    Ensures that slot machines are kept in good, working order and meet all requirements set out for fair and legal operation. Assists guests as needed and respond's to all requests for assistance from guests and Management.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    + Provide excellent service to guests, internal and external, through active guest engagement and positive attitude. Shall be required to read, implement, and adhere to all NWCR Policies and Procedures, LVD Gaming Ordinance, Tribal/State Gaming Compact, NIGC Minimum Internal Control Standards, Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, LVD Tribal Internal Control Standards, Title 31 Minimum Internal Control Standards, NWCR Casino Employee Handbook, Slots Department Policy and Procedure Manual.

    + Replaces parts, paper and cleans machines as needed.

    + Repairs equipment used in slot department.

    + Ensures all machines meet regulatory standards.

    + Removes machines from floor as necessary (machines weigh approx. 150 pounds to 200 pounds and are moved with the aid of a dolly).

    + Maintains an orderly workshop environment.

    + Maintains documentation of parts used in repairing slot machines.

    + Safeguards all casino assets.

    + Assists in the development of policies and training procedures.

    + To remain in compliance with Casino Regulatory policies and procedures, employees are required to attend all necessary meetings and training facilitated by Management.

    + Due to the dynamic Casino Environment from time to time, we require employees to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management.

    Skills & Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D.

    + Demonstrated skill in the repair of electronic equipment is required.

    + Knowledge of electronic and electrical systems is required.

    + Must have the ability to accomplish assigned work with a limited amount of supervision.

    + Ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing is required.

    + Must pass background checks and other pre-employment screenings necessary to receive and maintain a Gaming License.
