    Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Staff Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. This role is onsite and based in our San Jose, CA office five days a week, reporting to the Datacenter Deployment Manager. You will partner with engineers and product managers to facilitate hardware specification and selection while provisioning the staging environment for our global network expansion. By troubleshooting build environments and collaborating across engineering teams, you will ensure the reliability of our infrastructure and drive the optimization of our deployment processes.

    What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

+ Partner with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to facilitate new hardware and platform specification and selection

+ Provision new hardware and network devices in a staging environment for global deployment to expand and supplement the network

+ Troubleshoot issues within the build environment and repair or replace server and network components and infrastructure

+ Collaborate with the maintenance, network, install, and platform engineering teams to execute and validate build activities

+ Engage and assist in optimizing processes to drive efficiency and scalability within the infrastructure pipeline

    Who You Are (Success Profile)

+ You thrive in ambiguity. You're comfortable building the path as you walk it. You thrive in a dynamic environment, seeing ambiguity not as a hindrance, but as the raw material to build something meaningful.

+ You act like an owner. Your passion for the mission fuels your bias for action. You operate with integrity because you genuinely care about the outcome. True ownership involves leveraging dynamic range: the ability to navigate seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.

+ You are a problem-solver. You love running towards the challenges because you are laser-focused on finding the solution, knowing that solving the hard problems delivers the biggest impact.

+ You are a high-trust collaborator. You are ambitious for the team, not just yourself. You embrace our challenge culture by giving and receiving ongoing feedback—knowing that candor delivered with clarity and respect is the truest form of teamwork and the fastest way to earn trust.

+ You are a learner. You have a true growth mindset and are obsessed with your own development, actively seeking feedback to become a better partner and a stronger teammate. You love what you do and you do it with purpose.

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

+ 7–10 years of experience working in a hardware automation or build environment

+ Demonstrated experience translating cloud workload requirements to bare metal platform requirements

+ Deep understanding of various types of servers, network devices, and configurations, including their influence on platform performance

+ Proficiency with the LINUX/UNIX command line, BIOS, and OOB management such as ILO, SAA, iDRAC, or IPMI

+ Ability to occasionally lift and carry 50 lbs

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

+ Basic scripting capabilities in BASH or Python

+ Experience with virtualization solutions such as KVM and Proxmox

+ Familiarity with build automation technologies like Ansible or PXE boot and documentation tools such as Jira or Confluence
