    **Location:** Upper Chichester, PA

    **Pay Rate:** $26.00 – $35.00 per hour

    **Schedule:** Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (1st Shift Only)

    **Note:** This role includes **two weeks of paid training in Texas or Baton Rouge** .

    This is a small, ISO-certified manufacturing facility specializing in the production and repair of industrial valves. The site operates with fewer than 20 employees, offering a close-knit, team-oriented environment.     Position Summary

    The Welder is responsible for welding parts and components used in industrial valve manufacturing and repair. This role requires strong technical welding skills, particularly **overlay hard face welding** , and the ability to work from technical drawings and specifications. You will collaborate closely with machinists, assemblers, and leadership to meet quality and production goals while maintaining a customer-focused mindset.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform TIG, MIG, MAG, and stick welding

    + **Overlay hard face welding (required)**

    + Weld parts and components from blueprints and specifications

    + Repair raw and finished parts

    + Perform post-weld heat treatment

    + Set up and operate a conventional lathe for weld prep

    + Inspect finished work for quality and accuracy

    + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

    + Collaborate with machinists and assemblers

    Requirements

    + 3–5 years of welding experience (manufacturing or valve industry)

    + Overlay hard face welding experience **required**

    + Welder certification

    + Post-weld heat treatment experience

    + Ability to read technical drawings

    + Reliable attendance; able to work overtime/weekends if needed

    + Positive attitude and willingness to learn

    + HS Diploma or GED

     

    Preferred

     

    + Valve repair and assembly experience

    + PT / MT certifications
