The **Public Relations Manager** plays a key role in shaping and executing integrated external communications strategies that support Kelly and its business units. Reporting to the Director of Public Relations, this role partners closely with Marketing, Brand, Sales, Operations, Internal Communications, and business leaders to elevate Kelly’s brand, strengthen executive visibility, and drive business growth through modern public relations and content marketing initiatives.

This role requires strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to translate business objectives into compelling, measurable communications programs across earned, owned, and social channels.

How This Role Spends Its Time

Strategic Communications Planning (40%)

+ Drafts and supports messaging for integrated communications programs

+ Helps execute strategies aligned to business priorities and brand positioning

Media Relations (35%)

+ Leads media outreach and relationship building

+ Drives earned media opportunities through storytelling, expert positioning, and client partnerships

+ Ensures consistent and visible brand presence across external channels

Thought Leadership Initiatives (25%)

+ Supports speaking engagements, awards, and industry recognition efforts

+ Expands executive thought leadership through media, events, and social platforms

Required Skills & Experience

+ 3+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or journalism

+ Demonstrated success in media relations, strategic communications, and content development

+ Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams

+ Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

Base pay range for this position is $73,875 - $98,500 per year. Final annual compensation will be based on experience and may vary by geographic location.
