    Manufacturing Operator

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will efficiently and safely operate equipment, manage product flow, and maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Forklift driving experience is preferred. Familiarity with manufacturing environments and commitment to safety are essential.

    Qualifications:

    + Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

    + Ability to interpret product drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), specification sheets, Safety Data Sheets, troubleshooting guides, and related job documentation in both electronic and printed formats.

    + Physically able to lift, maneuver, and carry objects weighing up to 45 lbs.

    + Capable of pulling with forces up to 82 lbs and pushing with forces up to 50 lbs.

    + Can stand and/or walk for extended periods of 8 or 12-hour shifts, and comfortably walk up to 3 miles per day.

    + Able to grasp and pull materials, tools, and equipment; work with arms above and below shoulder level; bend and stretch.

    + Skilled in monitoring equipment for proper functioning, identifying product defects during and after processing.

    + Safety-conscious around moving equipment, including those with sharp blades, high-speed rotating parts, and potential pinch points.

    + Able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves (Nitrile/Cut Resistant), face shield, safety glasses, ear plugs, safety shoes, Tyvek sleeve, and plastic apron for the full shift.

    Responsibilities:

    + Follow all procedures and standard work documentation rigorously.

    + Use a computer to check emails, MOCs (Management of Change processes), and complete required learning management system training.

    + Complete daily I-Card (pre-task hazard assessment) before starting work.

    + Operate efficiently in a fast-paced, continuous improvement environment while adhering to standardized work procedures and safety practices.

    + Manage product queues to ensure smooth and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment.

    + Maintain high quality standards as defined in procedures and product specifications.

    + Identify, communicate, and escalate issues as needed.

    + Use material handling equipment to load raw materials onto manufacturing equipment.

    + Safely unload finished products from equipment using a forklift.

    + Confidently read and navigate Human-Machine-Interface (HMI) panels.

    + Maintain acceptable housekeeping standards throughout shift.

    + Use PPE at all times to minimize hazardous exposure.

    + Solve basic math problems using a calculator or by hand.

    + Maintain a detail-oriented approach with strong focus on safety and quality.

    Schedule:

    2nd shift 2:30pm- 10:30pm Sunday-Thursday
