Sr Finance Analyst, Health and Wellness

**Location: ** Onsite 4 days per week – Kohler, WI
Kohler Health and Wellness is a newly created business unit within Kohler Company, with locations in Palo Alto CA, New York City, Kohler WI, Seoul Korea, Tel Aviv, and Schwabisch Hall Germany. We are adding a newly created Sr Finance Analyst position, working in partnership with the Kohler Health and Wellness Finance and business teams with responsibility for financial, planning, and analysis for the business. This position serves as Business partner providing financial and analytical support to the Health and Wellness business teams to influence decision making and strategic growth strategic focus on the North American market.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations for cash, prepaids, fixed assets, AP, and overall maintenance of general ledger accounts.
+ Produce accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with company policies.
+ Collaborate and provide finance support to department heads to provide financial calculations for decision making and opex spend tracking and controls.
+ NPD team with NP business cases/PI’s, financials and approvers on ACTs, and WBS elements.
+ Department expense trackers and Headcount planning: Development Projects, Advertising, Marketing.
+ Capital expense tracking, updating Planview, and placing assets in service when appropriate.
+ Partner with the leadership team on the monthly forecasts and annual plan; own the system load for the balance sheet and income statement.
+ Prepared material for monthly and quarterly business reviews for Health and Wellness including NA Sauna and non-sap companies including follow up on unexpected charges to understand any variance to plan/est.
+ Lead finance process improvements and standardization opportunities across Health & Wellness.
+ Prepare journal entries/accruals/prorates, review monthly spend, Balance sheet reconciliations.
+ Support non-sap companies with FP&A support in line with Kohler processes.
+ Perform ad hoc analysis and assist with special projects as needed.
Skills/Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with 3-4 years of accounting/finance experience.
+ Strong knowledge of US GAAP with experience researching, understanding, and communicating technical accounting issues and recommendations.
+ A strong working knowledge of Excel is required.
+ Strong attention to detail, communication, and high degree of analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Experience or desire to drive process automation and data visualization.
+ Proven experience with developing scalable, efficient, and controlled processes.
+ Ability to effectively comprehend, analyze, and make recommendations based oncomplex data is required.
+ Effective communication skills, both within and outside of the Accounting/Financeorganization. This includes presentation skill.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation._
