Job Summary

Title: Senior Financial AnalystReports To: Finance Director

Under the direction of the Finance Director, the Senior Financial Analyst will manage and drive improvement in financial reporting, planning and analysis.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Prepares long-range plans, annual plans and quarterly forecasts

+ Prepares financial reports comparing actual results against budgets

+ Serves as the key analytical role supporting strategy and planning

+ Performs weekly cash flow analysis and forecasting

+ Prepares financial reports comparing actual results against budgets and prior year results

+ Serves as the key analytical role supporting strategy and planning

+ Develops KPI's and monitor progress against a reporting dashboard

+ Collaborates with Finance team on Ad Hoc projects involving company financial analysis and reporting

+ Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences

+ Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

+ 5+ years of business experience with significant forecasting, planning and analysis experience

+ CPA or MBA preferred

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to build relationships with other parts of the business

+ Strong business acumen and judgment

+ Ability to effectively simplify and communicate financial issues with associates and vendors outside of Finance

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office products; expertise in MS Excel

+ Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred
