Role Overview:
We are seeking a Lead, Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure, mission-critical applications supporting defense and aerospace programs. This role involves working across the full stack technologies in highly regulated environments, collaborating closely with systems engineering, cybersecurity, and program teams.
What You Will Do:
+ Work with product managers, technical leadership, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to support the team as we bring advanced data capabilities to RTX.
+ Design, Develop, maintain, and support business systems applications, ensuring they meet the needs of internal stakeholders.
+ Lead a team of software development and quality assurance engineers with various levels of expertise
+ Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
+ Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
+ Maintain and improve application performance, scalability, and security.
+ Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
+ Participate in Agile SAFe ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement within the Agile framework.
+ Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 8 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 5 years experience.
+ 5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.
+ Front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, C# and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular or other JS frameworks)
+ Experience in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java Experience with database technologies (e.g.,Oracle, SQL, NoSQL).
+ Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ A flexible and patient mindset, interested in working on a variety of multi-disciplinary challenges with varying stakeholders, partners, domains, and toolsets.
+ Experience with Git, Github, or similar version control system, Jira, Confluence, and Agile development.
+ Proven experience designing, writing, and executing unit tests to ensure high code quality, reliability, and maintainability
+ Effective communication and collaboration, especially across development and operations and business stakeholders.
+ Work with stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and document functional and technical needs before translating them into software solutions.
+ Prioritize tasks and manage multiple streams of work efficiently.

**Remote:** This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
