    DESCRIPTION

    **Standard** **II** - Regular Job Functions

     

    1) Monitor Eclinicalworks EMR to ensure patient flow during clinic. Review physician’s schedules prior to the start of clinic to identify patients with x-ray orders.

     

    2) Have a working knowledge of all x-ray equipment within the division and the protocols for each physician.

     

    3) Assist with Medical Assistant duties as needed; including, but not limited to, removal of sutures and staples, removal and application of casts and splints, dressing changes, rooming patients, drawing and setting up injections, applying braces, calling in prescriptions, completing paperwork, and returning patient phone calls.

     

    4) Ensure all x-ray orders are entered accurately in Eclinicalworks. Reconcile x-ray orders in Eclinicalworks to the patient list within AGFA.

     

    5) Maintain medical supply inventory and injectables and communicate with suppliers as needed.

     

    6) Responsible for following proper protocol for troubleshooting and reporting issues with x-ray equipment and software.

     

    7) Responsible for having transportation to all sites within the Marietta division to cover other offices as needed and directed by the x-ray supervisor or Management.

    REQUIREMENTS

    **Experience:** Minimum of six months in a physician office setting performing related functions.

    **Education:** High School or equivalent; X-Ray Certification required.
