Description

TheMaterial Handleris to ensure that all customer parts and vendor supplies are received, recorded, stored and shipped correctly and in an efficient manner. To insure Anoplate deliveries meet customer requirements and are performed in an economic and professional manner. Maintains a professional relationship with customers, suppliers and co-workers to ensure a smooth flow of product both received and shipped.

In This Role You Will:

+ Receive all incoming orders, supplies and chemicals.

+ Properly store all supplies and chemicals per storage protocol.

+ Sort jobs and match with travelers.

+ Transport jobs to and from shop floor as needed to facilitate optimal DIH goals.

+ Communicate in a courteous manner with customers (external or internal).

+ Utilize carrier organizations (UPS, FedEx, Airborne, etc.) to ship and receive orders.

+ Maintain accurate records and paperwork.

+ Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

+ Perform daily check on fork truck.

Requirements

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

+ Basic Computer Skills: - keyboard, data entry

+ Communication Skills: - customer focus

+ Power cart and forklift driving skills

+ Education / Experience: High School or equivalent
