    BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced **Nurse Manager** to join our outstanding and compassionate Behavioral Health team at **St. Joseph's Behavioral Health Center in Tampa** !

     

    St. Joseph’s Hospital Behavioral Health Center is a 145,000-square-foot, 60-bed inpatient psychiatric unit that offers 24-hour nursing care for adults and children 4 years old and up dealing with behavioral disorders and addictions. Our experienced team is comprised of psychiatrists, social workers, registered nurses, case managers and mental health technicians. St. Joseph’s Hospital Behavioral Health Center, part of BayCare Health System, is the only freestanding Baker Act-receiving private psychiatric hospital in Hillsborough County.\

    The Nurse Manager is:

    + A leader within the health system who demonstrates proficiency in all quality leadership skills.

    + Responsible for expertly managing the care of a patient population and practicing expert critical thinking skills when in the clinical setting.

    + Responsible for assuming 24-hour responsibility for a patient care unit and acts as liaison between patients, team members, physicians, other customers, and administration.

    Required Certifications and Licensures:

    + BLS (Basic Life Support)

    + RN (Registered Nurse)

    + Nurse Specialty - preferred

    Required Education:

    + Bachelor's in Nursing

    Experience:

    + 3 years RN Experience

    + 2 years Healthcare Leadership

    + OR 1 year in Nursing Leadership with MSN and RN Certification
