    + **Location:** New Port Richey, FL

    + **Status:** Full Time, salary

    + **Shift Hours:** 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

    + **Weekend Work:** Occasional

    + **On Call:** Yes

     

    BayCare Health System is currently in search of our newest Manager Infection Control who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital. Founded in 1965, Morton Plant North Bay Hospital is West Pasco County’s only not-for-profit community hospital and has 222 beds.

    Manager Infection Control key responsibilities:

    + Interacting with all Clinical areas to decrease both the potential and actual risk of infection

    + Defining, implementing and evaluating hospital infection control standards

    + Developing and implementing policy and procedures to decrease potential and actual risks of infection

    + Identifying the infection control programs for the needs of patients, families, visitors, healthcare providers and team members

    Credentials include **Certification Infection Control (CIC)** and one of the following

    + Master's degree in Public Health

    + RN License

    + Medical Technologist License

    + Registered Respiratory Therapist License and active NBRC Credential (RRT)

    Education includes one of the following:

    + Diploma Nursing

    + Associates Nursing

    + Associates Medical Technology

    + Bachelors Clinical Related

    + Masters Public Health

    + Masters Epidemiology

    Experience required:

    + 5 years clinical related experience

    + 3 years of Infection Control experience

    + Preferred 2 years of management experience
