Job Summary and Qualifications

What You’ll Do:

+ Support professional staff in the Radiology Department, including Technologists, RNs, and Physicians, to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

+ Assist with non-clinical aspects of patient care—helping patients feel comfortable, welcomed, and informed during their procedure.

+ Learn directly from experienced technologists, gaining valuable exposure to diagnostic imaging workflows.

+ Perform required regulatory and documentation tasks under supervision.

+ Work under the guidance of a registered technologist.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Student Radiologic Technologist is required to perform a variety of diagnostic procedures. Student Radiologic Technologists are required to utilize sterile techniques, operate complex angiographic equipment, and assist physicians by scrubbing and circulating during procedures, as necessary, throughout the Mission Health system. Continuing education, learned skills and experience will be utilized. This position will function with constant supervision from licensed technologist and/or physician to produce superior quality of radiographic images. The technologist must demonstrate independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Responsibility for designated areas and procedures is assumed.

What qualifications you will need:

+ **Required Education:** Must be entering second year of JRCERT accredited School of Radiography

+ **Required License:** BLS certified

+ **Required Experience:** Must be in second year of Radiography School
