    Food Service Worker

     

    We are seeking a Food Service Worker , sometimes referred to as a Café Work er or Food Service Associate . The Food Service Worker will work in our hospital cafeteria, responsible for preparing, serving, and delivering meals, ensuring food safety and cleanliness, and adhering to dietary guidelines. They support patient nutrition, healthcare hospitality, serve staff and visitors, maintain kitchen equipment and inventory, and contribute to overall food service operations in our hospital.

    Responsibilities

    Performs a variety of patient and non patient food service duties such as preparing and delivering patient trays, servicing the cafeteria, working on tray line, stocking storage areas, preparing nourishments, dishwashing and pot washing, mopping and sweeping of floors and emptying of trash as well as other related tasks.

    Qualifications

    Education and Work Experience

     

    + Starting July 1, 2017, High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

     

    County Specific requirement.

     

    + County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current
