CAPEX Buyer Analyst

Under supervision of the Sr. Director of the Central Capex, the Capex Buyer Analyst will support Category Managers and CAPEX Leads with operational, strategic & logistics activities critical to the success of the projects being worked by the company.
+ Ensure due diligence on project suppliers is done on a timely basis (Non-Disclosure Agreements, D&B, Graydon, RFI etc.)
+ Establish new supplier accounts to ProSource e-tool.
+ Tender RFQ to request bids from suppliers to win specified business projects/deals.
+ Establish bidding format through Prosource.
+ Fill out draft contract for RFP/RFX.
+ Support buyers with pre and/or post contract communication with the vendors.
+ Assist Capex Buyers in contacting various internal departments (Engineering, Risk Management, Legal, Operations, etc) to facilitate expedient communication as required.
+ Set up bid walk for projects and coordinate RFIs/FAQs.
+ Download bid proposals from ProSource and send non-awarded communications.
+ Review, maintain and manage the Capex purchasing procedures as well as digital tools. (i.e. Prosource, ProContract, PPM, Procube, and E-Auctions).
+ Foster compliance regarding the BU Purchasing Policy, Purchasing ICRF (Internal Controls Reference Framework), and P-Card Policy.
+ Perform Documentation Process for files and records (i.e. quotations, purchase orders, MB51 reports, receipts, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies as well as audit guidelines.
+ Generate weekly/monthly reports as needed by department head. (i.e. weekly RFXs report, SmartSheet, percentage report annually and combined Contract list report).
+ Proactively identify efficiency and/or cost savings opportunities to work with both vendors & internal teams to drive implementation.
+ Create, develop, and deliver Capex Newsletter each quarter to all Business Units.
+ Provide analytical support to the fleet team by generating reports and as needed.
+ Provide training for new employes and to other Business Units with Digital tools (i.e ProSource, ProContract, Supplier Portal, Adobe Sign, bid waiver platform, Share Point, DNB, SmartSheet).
+ Generate the Purchase Order (PO) and send to supplier (after review and approval from PM).
+ Follow up with supplier to send the invoice and lien waiver signed to Capex team.
+ Collaborate with AP team to make payments according to milestones in the contract.
Project Procurement Support
+ Act as a lead buyer to support between 4-8 projects per year for sourcing, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and contract completion.
+ Sourcing, identify and contact suppliers who meet project's need.
+ Use of internal database to track POs/spend per supplier to create leverage in negotiations and identify collaboration with other teams. Strategic Spend Analysis
+ Meet with Project Manager to review Scope of Work (SOW), drawings, and any other files critical for the project aiming to comply with SG purchasing policies and procedures

_What do you bring?_
+ Bachelors Degree plus 3 to 5 years or equivalent experience required.
+ Software SAP, Adobe Acrobat Sign, Jaggaer, SmartSheet.
+ Advanced in MS OFFICE (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and One Note).
+ Negotiation, Leadership, Problem-solving, Time management, Project Management skills.
+ Accuracy and attention to detail.
+ Excellent verbal communication & ability to use independent judgement.
+ Ability to effectively participate in negotiations.
+ Knowledge of procurement best practices and techniques.
+ Ability to comprehend and initiate report criteria (ability to analyze and present).
+ Ability to travel as needed 10%.
+ Supply Chain Management Certification, a plus.
+ Experience in capital purchases (Construction, manufacturing equipment etc.), Purchasing and Logistics or a similar field; knowledge in International Commerce, a plus.
+ Ability to understand product specification, compliance documentations and contracts is a plus.
