Job Description
The Program Coordinator I, under general supervision, leads departmental recruitment efforts and coordinates the planning, development, and implementation of departmental programs, including outreach and program communications.
Responsibilities:
+ Coordinates and supports recruitment and outreach efforts for departmental programs, partnering with faculty and staff to plan and implement initiatives
+ Serves as a primary point of contact for prospective students
+ Supports student recruitment through on-campus and off-campus events, conferences, tours, and outreach activities; occasional travel will be required
+ Coordinates ongoing outreach and correspondence with prospective, current, and former students, faculty, staff, advisors, and partners
+ Coordinates program communications and marketing efforts, including website content, directories, newsletters, digital signage, and social media platforms
+ Maintains and updates departmental websites and assists with creation and distribution of digital and print communications
+ Assists with development of marketing materials such as flyers, graphics, and social media content
+ Supports scholarship coordination
+ Maintains program records, databases, and listservs related to students, alumni, faculty, and staff
+ Collects, tracks, compiles, and maintains data related to recruitment, enrollment, internships, placements, scholarships, surveys, and other program outcomes
+ Provides logistical and administrative support for meetings, workshops, orientations, seminars, and events
+ Provides backup administrative and operational support as needed and assists with coordination of student workers
+ Provides general program support as needed and performs other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Two years of related experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
+ Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, including digital communication platforms
+ Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
+ Ability to work cooperatively with others
+ Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
