This role requires travel up to 70%. The territory for the role is Southern California and AZ.** **Therefore, candidates must reside in the Western U.S.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for contributing to and implementing sales strategies and tailoring these as applicable to achieve regional revenue goals and forecasts. You will manage sales growth and profitability of the region through product mix, pricing and expense management. The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue in the assigned territory for the Fenestration O.E.M. market. The position has overall responsibility for developing a comprehensive sales strategy and its successful implementation through developing and maintaining relationships with key influencers, and developing a network of manufacturing and dealer partners through a solution's based selling approach and regular pattern of calls to achieve AOP goals.
What You Will Do:
+ Contribute to and implement sales strategiesand translate these into local activities to meet regional annual andlong rangesales goals.
+ Contribute to regional sales budgetpreparation, andsubmit regional sales forecasts ina timelyandaccuratemanner.
+ Contribute to and implement sales policies, processes,channeland pricing strategies.
+ Execute PMP objectives and quarterly business priorities
+ Develop andmaintaincollaborative relationships with internal customers (including marketing, customer services,purchasingand warehouse) and external customers, sharing knowledge and being a team player.
+ Develop andmaintainexcellent industry and territory knowledge. Understand customer and competitor activities and adapt to changes in themarket place.
+ Communicate opportunities on strategic sales/marketing issues thatimpactregion (channels, pricing, products,partnersand promotion).
+ Conduct product and sales training sessions to meet internal and external customer needs.
+ Provide comprehensive sales reports and other managementreportingasrequired.
+ Maintainawareness of all Company policies, guidelines and procedures and ensure compliance.
+ Contribute to, and lead asrequired, business projects.
+ Lead development, accountmanagementand execution of Fenestration O.E.M. strategy.
+ Develop relationships with key influencers, Fenestration O.E.M.’sand dealers within assigned territory.
+ Develop and expand Brio’s existing network of O.E.M. partners in this space.
+ Attend industry trade shows,conferencesand other events asneedfor networking, marketanalysisand prospecting.
+ Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends and with a view to developing new services, products and distribution channels.
+ Maintain extensive knowledge of competitive and current market conditions.
+ Understand business and market dynamics that drive success in theFenestrationO.E.M. space.
+ Submit customer call reports and weekly progress reports.
What You Need to Succeed:
+ Bachelor’s degree in business or related fieldpreferred.
+ 5+ years of sales and business development experience with clear demonstration of successful growth.
+ 5+ years of sales experience in the Fenestration O.E.M space.
+ Window / Door hardware sales experience preferred.
+ Workingknowledgeof Fenestration market business models.
+ Ability to think strategically andproblem solvewith entrepreneurial commitment to achieving goals.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Demonstrated experience influencing others with a bias for action.
+ Strong presentation skillsrequired.
+ **Travel up to 70%. The territory for the role is Southern California and AZ.**
+ Proficient w/ MS Office tools.
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability toexecute onbusiness plans.
+ Ability to partner with customers and internal cross functional teams.
+ Customer-centric with the ability to balance both customer benefits and business financials.

**Compensation:** This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
+ The expectedBase Salary Range: $130,000-$160,000. The actual compensation will bedeterminedbased on experience and other factorspermittedby law.
