    Position Summary

    As a key member of the Energy Group MPSD (Motion Power & Sensing Division), and based remote (ideally in Eastern US), the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) manages the sales in the U.S. to achieve assigned sales revenue targets and drive continued growth in the Region. In this capacity, the RSM owns the U.S. Sales Strategy and leads the support team to manage sales opportunities from creation to post-sales support. The RSM will manage Strategic Accounts and a distribution network to grow sales and provide customer support.

    Essential Functions

    • Drives sales growth in U.S. through management of current business and opportunities and creates new opportunities within the region through developing and maintaining business relationships with strategic and target customers.

    • Develops and manages the Regional Sales Strategy in support of the MPSD Sales Strategy and aligned with the Product Management strategy, to drive revenue growth and profitability in the U.S.

    • Develops an in-depth knowledge of our Energy Products and Services to provide capability presentations to customers and generate comprehensive proposals to address target opportunities.

    • Develops, manages and leverages distribution network to increase market awareness of MPSD products/services and grow business opportunity pipeline.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree required, preferably BSME or BSEE

    • Significant experience in a technical sales environment and preferably with direct sales experience, ideally in an Energy Market.

    • Experience in managing complex sales opportunities with demonstrated experience in the analysis of customer requirements, and development of a strategy to address these requirements

    • Ideal candidates will possess a Technical Degree with specific knowledge in Asset Management through vibration monitoring and analysis

    • Extensive experience developing and managing large complex accounts

    • Up to date knowledge and practical understanding of Energy Market and Utilities

    • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

    • Exemplary skills in problem solving and troubleshooting

    • Knowledge of monitoring systems used for rotating equipment

    • Knowledge of various technologies used for instrumentation and controls

    • A relationship builder with outstanding communication skills and the ability to listen

    • Proven ability to work in matrix organization with global coverage

    • Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision to meet deadlines

    • Strong team player

    • Ability to visualize and plan objectives and goals strategically

    • Ability to develop strategic plans to grow the business

    • Ability to work in a changing environment

    • Ability to lead and influence a team

    • Ability to have a positive mind set and to proactively drive the team to achieving team and corporate goals
