Description
The Electrical Designer Resource will support the design and construction of power, lighting, and telecommunications systems within the built environment. This role works closely with Electrical Designers, Electrical Engineers, and the Lead Electrical Engineer, who will provide mentorship in areas such as design calculations, code compliance, layout planning, and drafting preliminary one-line diagrams.
Under the guidance of the Engineering Support Services Team, the Electrical Designer Resource will assist with engineering drawings and calculations for preconstruction, construction, and service/special projects on all things power and technology.
**Compensation for this Role:** $75,000 - $95,000 Annually, Depending on Experience
**Location:** This role can be based in Lakewood, Eagle, or Fort Collins, CO.

+ Specification review assistance
+ Electrical gear review assistance
+ Owner equipment review assistance
+ Integration opportunity/risk analysis
+ Fire alarm and life safety systems support
+ Life safety gap design/risk analysis
+ Lighting and lighting control submittal review
+ Value engineering designs and analysis
+ Code review
Construction
+ Submittal review assistance
+ Engineered study review
+ Lighting control review
+ Construction power design and drafting
+ Arc flash energized work calculations and support
+ Constructability support
+ Code analysis
+ Engineering gap design
+ Underground heat calculations (Neher McGrath)
Service & Special Projects
+ Design/build engineering
+ Load calculations
+ Short circuit calculations
+ Design drawing development and/or review
+ Site visit evaluations
+ Technical reports
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of:

REQUIREMENTS:
+ This position requires a relevant engineering degree from an ABET accredited institution, or the ability to obtain and actively pursue a relevant engineering degree, that includes circuits, electromotive force, physics and some computer science.
+ Certification as an EI/EIT is required.
