    Our client, a leading organization in the food production industry, is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to join their team. As a Shipping Supervisor, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Shipping and Receiving team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Shipping Supervisor

    **Location:** Columbus, Ohio

    **Pay Range:** $70,000 - $85,000

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Oversee daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of the Shipping and Receiving team to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

    + Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure proper documentation for receipt and shipment processes.

    + Coordinate safety training and promote a safe work environment through education and observation.

    + Manage raw material and finished goods inventory, ensuring FIFO and COA compliance.

    + Conduct documentation audits and oversee off-site inventory levels for accuracy and proper rotation.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + AA / AS Degree or 5 years of experience in shipping and receiving management.

    + Experience with Food Production, Food Safety, HAACP, and related training.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MRP, SAP, or other inventory and order processing systems.

    + Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in various environmental conditions including hot, cold, noisy, and odorous environments.

    + Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
