    Job Description:

The FP&A Analyst I provides analytics and oversight of financials, resource planning, and performance measurements. This entry-level role participates in financial management planning to include business unit/area financial planning, overhead, and general & administrative planning, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and coordinating submittals to business area and corporate entities.

    Responsibilities:

    *Provide analytics and oversight of financials, resource planning, and performance measurements.

    *Participate in indirect rate planning.

    *Support the development and implementation of financial management plans.

    *Coordinate and ensure the accuracy of financial deliverables to corporate entities.

    *Assist in the preparation of financial reports and presentations.

    *Conduct detailed financial and variance analysis to understand business performance and identify trends, opportunities, and risks.

    *Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis initiatives.

    *Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

    Skills:

    *0-2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a related field.

    * In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required.

    *Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports and/or projections.

    *Ability to leverage advancing financial tech to continuously improve modeling, forecasting, and financial insights.

    *Familiarity with Profit and Loss statements.

    Preferred:

    *Enthusiasm for the Aerospace and Defense industry.

    *Advanced skills in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.

    *Prior experience with IT or technology spend analysis

    Education:

    * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required.
