Our client is seeking a Tool Room Supervisor to join their team with experience in Automotive Manufacturing. As a Tool Room Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising resources and personnel to meet Tooling and production schedules, productivity targets, quality targets, control and organization of Tool room, while coordinating activities to support the control and maintenance of all tools and safety objectives.
Job Title: Tool Room Supervisor
**Location:** Sterling Heights, MI
Job Responsibilities:
+ Schedule and coordinate the daily tasks for the Tool-room personnel.
+ Create, distribute and track work assignments to Tool-room leaders.
+ Maintain adequate inventory of die tooling and tool room supplies.
+ Schedule vendors (welders, polishers, EDM, machine repair) to meet targets.
+ Responsible for Tool-room safety and safe work practices.
Requirements** **:
+ Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field or Journeyman Tool & Die maker with 5 years related work experience.
+ 5-7 years previous supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Metal stamping and weld/assembly experience.
+ Experience using AutoCAD.
