**Job Title:** Security Engineer (Splunk)

**Location:** Plano, TX

**Pay Range:** $73hr

What's the Job?

+ Manage and optimize SIEM/SOAR platforms, primarily Splunk, for advanced threat detection, automation, and incident response.

+ Collaborate with IT teams to develop detection rules, dashboards, and automation playbooks to enhance security posture.

+ Monitor and analyze security events to identify threats and reduce response times effectively.

+ Support incident response activities, including triage, service restoration, root cause analysis, and implementing permanent fixes.

+ Ensure compliance with regulatory and security policies while delivering high-quality support services.

What's Needed?

+ 5+ years of hands-on experience in SIEM/SOAR administration and security operations, with strong expertise in Splunk.

+ Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, threat detection, and incident response processes.

+ Extensive experience with Windows OS, SQL/Oracle databases, and Unix/Linux environments.

+ Proficiency in IAM (Identity and Access Management), MFA technologies, and related tools within regulated environments.

+ Excellent communication skills, team collaboration, and the ability to work under pressure, including on-call support.
