Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in production on the feed premixes production floor, is seeking a Operator -3rd shift to join their team. As an Operator -3rd shift, you will be part of the production team supporting the manufacturing of custom vitamin premixes. The ideal candidate will have dependability, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Operator -3rd shift
**Location:** Ames, Iowa
**Pay Range:** $20.00
**Shift:** Sunday-Thursday 9P-7.30A
What's the Job?
+ Handle raw materials, transport from storage to dispenser room, and weigh them as required per batch formula.
+ Operate production equipment including mixing, blending, and packaging machines.
+ Monitor equipment and process parameters, record process conditions, and report disturbances.
+ Perform quality inspections, sample preparations, and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
+ Maintain good housekeeping and follow safety procedures on the production floor.
What's Needed?
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Ability to operate forklifts and computers.
+ Physical ability to move 60 lbs frequently and often, with respirator clearance.
+ Reliable transportation and punctuality.
+ Willingness to undergo physical and safety testing including OSHA questionnaires and respirator fit tests.
