**Job Title:** Production Supervisor
**Location:** Portland, ME
Position Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on **Production Supervisor** to lead our team and ensure smooth, efficient operations. The Production Supervisor oversees the daily production activities, including managing workload, workflow, staffing, training, safety, and quality. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working on the floor, coaching team members, and driving results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure SLA are met daily
• Supervise daily workload, employees, and production workflow from setup to completion
• Onboard, train, and coach team members; identify gaps and execute performance improvement plans
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure adequate staffing and work distribution
• Enforce safety standards and participate as an active member of the Safety Team
• Maintain organized, clean, and efficient production areas
• Investigate and resolve production issues; implement corrective and preventative actions
• Act as liaison between production operations and client services
• Manage material staging, job changes, quality signoffs, and preparation of mail for nightly pickup
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or high-volume production environment
• Experience leading teams, coaching employees, and managing workflow
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems (Microsoft Office experience preferred)
• Knowledge of basic math, fractions, and percentages
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred
• Color printing and/or mail inserting experience a plus

**Pay Details:** $34.00 to $42.00 per hour
