    Senior Recruiter – HR (Data Science, Quantitative & Analytics)

    **Location:** Richmond, VA or McLean, VA

    **Work Model:** Hybrid (3 days onsite per week required)

    **Duration:** 1-Year Contract

     

    About the Role

     

    Capital One is seeking an experienced **Senior Recruiter** to support hiring across Data Science, Quantitative, and Data Analytics teams. This role will manage full-cycle recruiting and partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to attract, assess, and close top technical talent. The ideal candidate is consultative, data-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process, including intake, job description creation, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation

    + Proactively source diverse, high-quality candidate pipelines using LinkedIn, search tools, referrals, recruiting events, and other creative sourcing strategies

    + Market Capital One’s talent brand to attract top technical talent

    + Deliver a strong, end-to-end recruiting experience for both candidates and hiring managers

    + Advise hiring managers and leaders on market trends, talent availability, and recruiting best practices

    + Develop and execute pipeline strategies to support current and future hiring needs

    + Consult with multiple hiring managers simultaneously to understand and prioritize talent needs

    + Partner cross-functionally to ensure consistent, efficient, and compliant hiring processes

    Basic Qualifications

    + High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

    + At least 3 years of experience in recruiting, Human Resources, client consulting, or a combination of the three

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification

    + 5+ years of experience in full-cycle corporate recruiting, including research and sourcing

    + Experience consulting with multiple hiring managers while building strong working relationships

    + Ability to influence stakeholders and drive results in a fast-paced environment

    + Proven ability to use innovative sourcing techniques to attract diverse talent

    + Experience with compensation considerations and general HR requirements related to hiring

    + Comfortable supporting multiple teams and requisitions simultaneously

    **Pay Details:** $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
