    Benco Dental is searching for a Social Media Intern for the Summer 2026 semester.

    Do YOU Possess These Skills and Attributes?

     

    + Familiarity with major social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) and how brands interact with audiences on each.

    + Basic knowledge of social media tools (e.g., HubSpot, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, native analytics) or a strong willingness to learn.

    + Strong writing and proofreading skills with attention to detail.

    + Comfortable working with visual content; experience in Canva is a plus.

    + Organizational and multi-task skills is a must.

    + Positive, proactive attitude and curiosity to learn.

    + Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Meet deadlines with guidance.

     

    Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

     

    + Draft short form copy for posts that align with Benco-s brand voice.

    + Help source or request images, videos, and other creative assets.

    + Monitor social channels for comments, messages, and mentions and relay updates to the team as needed.

    + Help maintain brand consistency across all platforms.

    + Support social campaigns for key categories (Consumables, Equipment, Field Services, Practice Solutions, Design, etc.).

    + Contribute to content calendars, post grids, and simple briefs for launches and initiatives.

    + Conduct basic research on competitor and industry social activity to spot trends and ideas.

    + Pull metrics such as impressions, reach, engagement, clicks, and followers from platforms and/or Sprout.

    + Help update simple dashboards and summarize performance highlights.

    + Track emerging formats, platform updates, and best practices-and share ideas we can test on Benco channels.

    + Pitch ideas and support other digital marketing projects as needed.

     

    Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

     

    + Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related field at the time of internship.

    + Ability to work 16 hours per week

    + Must be local to the Pittston, PA area to work onsite
