Bookkeeper – Full-Time Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper for one of our trusted local clients. Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
+ Process payroll and maintain payroll records
+ Prepare financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports
+ Monitor and report on Work in Progress (WIP) statements and related project accounting
+ Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate ledgers
+ Maintain internal financial controls and support audit preparations
+ Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal team members to resolve discrepancies
+ Assist with cross-functional projects or special assignments as needed

Requirements
+ 4+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or a related role, with proven experience in billing and payment reconciliation
+ Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and intermediate Excel
+ Prior experience working with WIP statements and generating financial reports
+ Solid understanding of trust account management and compliance standards
+ Strong knowledge of small- to mid-sized business accounting operations
+ Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
+ Ability to learn quickly and collaborate during the cross-training period
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with attorneys, clients, and staff
+ Preferred experience in a legal or detail-oriented services setting
