Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Timekeeping Specialist to strengthen our timekeeping compliance for non-exempt employees. This newly recreated role is critical for ensuring accurate payroll processing, maintaining compliance with California wage & hour laws, and supporting HR operations. This is a temp-to-hire position, offering the opportunity to grow into a full-time role.
EKey Responsibilities:
+ Audit employee timesheets daily to ensure accuracy and compliance with California non-exempt wage & hour regulations.
+ Verify lunch breaks and total hours worked, ensuring proper approvals in Paycom.
+ Support payroll and HR operations, including reviewing, correcting, and updating employee entries as needed.
+ Collaborate with payroll and HR teams to maintain accurate records and strengthen compliance processes.
+ Occasional travel to local sites for meetings in West LA, Inglewood, or Long Beach.
Requirements
+ Experience with California non-exempt payroll/timekeeping regulations (mandatory).
+ Experience with Paycom or similar payroll/timekeeping systems (preferred).
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
