Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Torrance, California. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth vendor payment processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts payable and vendor management while contributing to the efficient operation of our finance department.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process invoices for payment, ensuring adherence to company policies and deadlines.

• Conduct regular check runs to ensure timely vendor payments.

• Reconcile vendor statements to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain strong relationships with vendors to support operational efficiency.

• Enter invoices into accounting systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

• Investigate and resolve issues related to vendor payments and invoices.

• Collaborate with team members to optimize accounts payable processes.

• Monitor accounts payable transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Assist with reporting and documentation related to financial operations.

• Provide support during audits and other financial reviews. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in an accounts payable role or similar position.

• Proficiency in managing accounts payable processes and systems.

• Skilled in reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies.

• Familiarity with accounting software and the Microsoft Office suite.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and team collaboration.

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
