Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Fort Collins, Colorado. This role requires an individual with experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and data entry, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting tools, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and efficiency.

• Perform accurate data entry to maintain financial records and update databases.

• Handle invoice processing and ensure timely payments to vendors.

• Utilize QuickBooks and Sage 50 software for accounting tasks and reconciliations.

• Review and verify financial documents for completeness and accuracy.

• Communicate effectively with customers and vendors to resolve billing and payment inquiries.

• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as required.

• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and workflows.

• Maintain organized records and documentation for auditing purposes.

• Provide excellent customer service while addressing financial-related inquiries. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Sage 50 accounting software.

• Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.

• Familiarity with invoice processing and financial documentation.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Solid customer service skills for resolving inquiries.

• Ability to work effectively in a contract role and adapt to changing priorities.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
