• Customer Service Representative

    Robert Half Office Team (East Rutherford, NJ)


    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in East Rutherford, New Jersey. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our clients while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage customer needs efficiently.

    Responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

    • Prepare and provide accurate quotes to customers in a timely manner.

    • Process orders by entering them into the system and confirming details with customers.

    • Offer support to the Sales team by managing quotations, delivery updates, and order reports.

    • Address customer inquiries regarding order status, shipments, and any backorder situations.

    • Resolve operational issues related to deliveries, invoicing, and returns with a focus on customer satisfaction.

    • Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and sales departments to deliver top-notch customer service.

    • Participate in daily shipping activities, including preparing shipping documents and maintaining accuracy.

    • Conduct regular calls with customers to review service quality and address any concerns. Requirements • Proven experience in a call center or customer service role.

    • Proficiency in order entry systems and managing customer orders.

    • Strong ability to handle inbound and outbound calls effectively.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Familiarity with resolving operational issues and providing shipment tracking.

    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

    • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
