Description

We are looking for a dedicated Member Services Representative to join our team in Chelsea, MA. In this role, you will provide outstanding customer service, assist members with their financial needs, and ensure efficient branch operations. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the banking and customer service industry.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service by fostering a welcoming and member-focused environment.

• Provide accurate information about products and services offered by the Credit Union.

• Identify member needs through meaningful conversations and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Process financial transactions with precision and ensure member satisfaction.

• Familiarize yourself with and adhere to policies and procedures for branch operations, including cash handling, deposits, and audits.

• Maintain compliance with banking regulations and company standards.

• Balance daily transactions and reconcile personal cash drawer.

• Build strong relationships with members and colleagues to enhance trust and collaboration.

• Learn and utilize digital banking tools, such as online and mobile banking, to assist members effectively.

• Adapt to changes in technology and operations while embracing new advancements.

Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in customer service or banking.

• Strong skills in cash handling and processing financial transactions.

• Knowledge of banking operations and compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Ability to quickly learn and apply new policies, procedures, and technologies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with members and colleagues.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately balance transactions and cash drawers.

• Flexibility and adaptability to embrace evolving technologies and processes.
