Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Denver, Pennsylvania. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of records. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our accounting processes while supporting various office functions.
Responsibilities:
• Process and record employee expenses by verifying details and ensuring timely payment.
• Oversee accounts payable, including collecting invoices, obtaining approvals, recording transactions, and maintaining organized records.
• Match purchase orders with invoices, confirm accurate pricing and payment terms, and address discrepancies before processing payments.
• Generate weekly accounts payable aging reports and resolve vendor account issues promptly.
• Monitor and replenish funds in postage machines to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Maintain and reconcile petty cash accounts, ensuring proper documentation and replenishment.
• Handle bi-weekly payroll processing, including verifying employee information and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Keep payroll files and records updated and organized for accuracy and accessibility.
• Provide administrative support by managing documentation, filing, mailing, and other tasks as needed.

Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial record management.
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
• Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address discrepancies effectively.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and maintaining compliance with regulations.
