    Robert Half Office Team (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA)


    Description

    We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join our team in Palos Verdes Peninsula, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting HR operations during a high-volume hiring period, ensuring smooth onboarding processes and maintaining compliance standards. This is a long-term contract position designed to provide critical assistance during a medical leave of absence, with involvement through the summer program.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate onboarding processes for approximately 150 seasonal employees, ensuring timely completion of paperwork and compliance requirements.

    • Manage and verify employment documentation, including TB assessments, certifications, and onboarding checklists.

    • Facilitate recruitment coordination and oversee hiring workflows to meet organizational goals.

    • Monitor timekeeping systems and maintain accurate employee data using HRIS platforms.

    • Conduct W-2 audits and assist with various HR administrative tasks as needed.

    • Partner with leadership and payroll teams to ensure seamless HR operations.

    • Maintain organized and compliant HR processes to support organizational standards.

    • Serve as the project manager for onboarding timelines and hiring activities.

    • Support employee relations initiatives and address HR-related inquiries effectively.

     

    Requirements • Proven experience in HR administration and onboarding processes.

     

    • Proficiency in HRIS platforms, with prior experience in Paycom preferred.

    • Strong understanding of compliance requirements and employment documentation.

    • Ability to manage high-volume hiring periods and maintain organizational accuracy.

    • Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise with leadership and employees.

    • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively.

    • Familiarity with employee relations practices and HR best practices.
