Description

A highly regarded defense firm in Walnut Creek is seeking a contract-to-hire eDiscovery Paralegal to join their litigation team. This role will start on-site for the first 30 days of training, and then will become hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote).

This role is ideal for an experienced eDiscovery Paralegal who is hands-on with Relativity, comfortable leveraging AI-driven review tools, and open to mentoring junior paralegals.

Responsibilities

+ Manage the full eDiscovery lifecycle in a litigation environment

+ Oversee document collections, processing, review workflows, and productions

+ Utilize Relativity, including AI-assisted review and analytics tools

+ Coordinate with attorneys, vendors, and internal litigation teams

+ Perform quality control and troubleshoot eDiscovery issues

+ Provide light mentoring and guidance to other paralegals on eDiscovery best practices

Requirements

+ 3+ years of eDiscovery experience in a litigation setting

+ Strong proficiency with Relativity, including AI-related functionality

+ Prior experience supporting complex litigation matters

+ Insurance Defense or Construction Defense experience strongly preferred

+ Comfortable mentoring and supporting junior paralegals
