Description

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in West LA. This is an entry-level opportunity, contract-to-hire opportunity with potential to grow. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a key part in managing high-volume financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across various properties.

Responsibilities:

• Process tenant refunds promptly and with precision to uphold financial accuracy.

• Assist in the management of invoices and expenses, ensuring timely processing and compliance.

• Work closely with team members to streamline financial operations across assigned properties.

• Maintain meticulous documentation and records to support audits and regulatory requirements.

• Contribute to special projects and generate reports as needed to support departmental goals.

• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance workflow efficiency and address challenges in property management.

• Ensure proper account coding and reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.

• Analyze accounts and perform accounting entries to support overall financial operations.

• Provide input and assistance in improving accounting functions and processes.

This is an onsite role in West LA. Hours are Monday - Friday 7:30 - 4:30PM with some flexibility. Pay is based on experience, up to $25-27/hr. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of accounting experience.

Requirements • Prior experience in Accounts Payable, ideally within property management or real estate.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.

• Ability to handle high-volume tasks efficiently within tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.

• Solid understanding of account coding, reconciliation, and analysis.

• Familiarity with accounting entries and financial processes.

• Demonstrated ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
