Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a front-end data entry role. You will be responsible for entering prescriptions promptly and accurately, ensuring seamless pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

+ Enter prescriptions into the system accurately and in a timely manner.

+ Assist in the fulfillment and order entry processes.

+ Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.

+ Collaborate with insurance providers to resolve any discrepancies.

+ Maintain accurate records of pharmacy transactions.

+ Provide exceptional customer service within a specialty and retail pharmacy setting.

Essential Skills

+ Valid Pharmacy Technician license.

+ Proficiency in pharmacy order entry and fulfillment.

+ Strong data entry and computer skills.

+ Experience with insurance processes and specialty pharmacy.

+ Prior experience in a retail pharmacy environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Advanced computer skills.

+ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Work Environment

This role is based in a closed-door dispensing pharmacy environment. You will work at a desk on a computer for 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm, with occasional weekends possible. Initially, this position requires working in the office. However, there is a possibility of a hybrid schedule in the future, allowing for three days remote and two days in-office, based on performance and attendance. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeland, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
