    Job Title: Electrical Engineer III

    Job Description

    An exciting opportunity awaits for an Electrical Engineer III to join our team and support public-utility projects and wildfire mitigation plans. This role allows for professional growth and the potential to move into a managerial position. The position offers the flexibility of working remotely or in a hybrid model, with opportunities for travel.

    Responsibilities

    + Build engineering diagrams and plan distribution, capacity, and reliability to meet utility goals.

    + Convert overhead systems to underground systems.

    + Locate protection devices and coordinate with upstream protection devices; handle 4Kv conversions to higher voltages.

    + Consult with clients to develop or revise standards.

    + Complete client-specific pull calculations.

    + Conduct arc flash studies.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in utility projects.

    + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

    + EIT license required; PE or pathway toward PE License required

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Easy Power, and PLS-CADD (or similar software).

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with wildfire mitigation plans.

    + Understanding of distribution and electric systems and their potential to cause ignitions.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The role is open to candidates who prefer to work on-site in with an expectation of 2 days in the office and 3 days remote each week.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $72.12 - $84.13/hr.
