    Mechanical Technician (Millwright) – 1st Shift (Data Center)

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled Millwright with a strong knowledge in industrial maintenance, mechanical and electrical systems, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining complex machinery to ensure optimal equipment performance. Candidates with experience in industrial electrical work, hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and PLCs are highly preferred. A commitment to safety, quality, and customer service is essential.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment.

    + Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.

    + Perform precision measurements using tools such as micrometers, ammeters, and ohmmeters.

    + Conduct hydraulic system repairs and work with low/high voltage electrical systems.

    + Safely operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment.

    + Utilize CMMS for maintenance tracking and inventory management.

    + Perform welding tasks for equipment fabrication or repair.

    + Ensure compliance with safety standards for electrical, HVAC/R, and industrial systems.

    + Collaborate with team members to diagnose and resolve equipment failures.

    + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    + Proven experience in industrial maintenance or millwright work.

    + Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, HVAC/R, and electrical troubleshooting.

    + Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.

    + Skilled in precision measuring instruments (micrometers, ohmmeters, ammeters).

    + Experience with PLCs and CMMS software (preferred).

    + Proficiency in welding techniques.

    + Ability to operate scissor lifts safely.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent communication skills in English.

    + Industrial electrician experience and familiarity with high-voltage systems (preferred).

    Additional Skills

    + DX refrigeration systems experience (preferred).

    + HVAC system knowledge (preferred).

    This is a Contract position based out of Round Rock, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
