    Job Title: 2nd Shift General Production Worker $21/hr!

    Job Description

    Join a global leader in copper and copper alloy manufacturing, processing, and distribution. Our expanding Delaware location is seeking dedicated General Production Workers for the 2nd shift to support growth in our production operations.

    Responsibilities

    + Follow production orders, company procedures, and supervisor directions to prepare parts and assemble components into assemblies.

    + Perform assembly operations using power tools or specialized equipment to produce pressure vessels and heat exchangers.

    + Prepare parts for assembly by grinding, blasting, cutting metals, and other means.

    + Execute assembly following company procedures and documents, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

    + Maintain equipment functionality through preventative maintenance as per instructions.

    + Propose new methods, procedures, or equipment to enhance efficiency or quality.

    Essential Skills

    + High School Diploma or GED is required.

    + Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods.

    + Capability to regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds.

    + Proficient in using standard hand and power tools such as drills and grinders.

    + Understanding of fractions, decimals, and measurement techniques.

    + 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or production work.

    + 1+ years of mechanical assembly experience with drawings and diagrams.

    + 1+ years of industrial machine operation experience.

    + Willingness to work other shifts in the future.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is clean, comfortable, and organized, located in a non-climate controlled machine and weld shop. The production floor hosts a team of 12 individuals working together to achieve our growth objectives.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delaware, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
