    Job Title: Facilities Assistant** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Assistant to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of our building. You will be responsible for following a set daily route, completing tasks as per the work order system, and handling both routine and emergency cleaning duties.

    Responsibilities

    + Clean 12 restrooms, 2 break rooms, hallways, and office spaces daily.

    + Handle emergency clean-ups as required.

    + Perform janitorial duties such as deep restroom cleaning, flooring cleaning, heavy trash bag disposal, and box lifting.

    + Provide maintenance support, including changing soap dispensers and faucets, using small hand tools.

    + Coordinate vendor work, including training and managing vendor relationships, and escorting vendors through the facility.

    + Perform computer-based tasks such as virtual training, online supply ordering, and data entry.

    + Fix minor cleaning-related issues, including patching, painting, and replacing dispenser machines.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in custodial, cleaning, janitorial, and commercial cleaning.

    + Knowledge and use of power tools and work order tracking systems.

    + Proficiency in English speaking and writing.

    + Basic computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office.

    + Ability to manage vendor relationships and work with cleanrooms.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience as a Commercial Janitor, Custodian, Janitor, or Cleaner.

    + Mopping and general cleaning skills.

    Work Environment

    Work in a manufacturing environment with designated cleanrooms. Training will be provided during the first month from 6:30 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Regular working hours are from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sunnyvale, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
