Job Title: Mechanical DrafterJob Description
We are seeking a meticulous and technically proficient Mechanical Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and reviewing mechanical drawings using CAD software, updating job information, and ensuring all work complies with safety standards.
Responsibilities
+ Create and update drawings using CAD software, with a preference for AutoCAD and Inventor.
+ Review mechanical drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
+ Update job information and maintain organized records.
+ Exhibit safe work habits and adhere to all PPE and OSHA requirements during time spent in the manufacturing area.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Inventor.
+ Strong organizational skills and technical proficiency.
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing drawings, technical manuals, and diagrams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associate's Degree with 0-10 years of experience.
+ Experience with mechanical drawings.
+ Familiarity with BOM and procurements is preferred.
+ Experience with heat exchange or similar mechanical plant equipment.
Work Environment
This position is primarily onsite, requiring attendance 5 days per week. Remote work may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Employees in this role will enjoy optional overtime in an hourly capacity and will receive 3 weeks of PTO once transitioning to direct employment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Duquesne, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $40.00/hr.
