We are seeking an experienced CAE Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in crash safety impact simulations and a strong proficiency in tools like LS-DYNA, ANSA, and Meta-Post. This role involves conducting complex vehicle system-level CAE model construction, visualization, and analysis, contributing to the safety and efficiency of our automotive designs.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct crash safety-related impact simulations using LS-DYNA.
+ Analyze simulation results to assess crash performance.
+ Benchmark simulations against NCAP, IIHS, and internal safety standards.
+ Identify and recommend countermeasures when performance targets are not met.
+ Collaborate with engineering teams to communicate findings and recommendations.
+ Generate detailed engineering documentation and simulation analysis reports.
+ Work closely with design and test engineers to support development efforts.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
+ Minimum 6+ years of industry experience as a CAE analyst.
+ Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with LS-DYNA.
+ Proficiency in pre-/post-processing tools: ANSA and Meta-Post.
+ Experience in complex vehicle system-level CAE model construction, visualization, and analysis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Advanced degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
+ Familiarity with automotive safety standards (FMVSS, ECE, NCAP).
+ Experience with CAE workflow automation and AI/ML integration.
+ Knowledge of optimization tools (modeFRONTIER or iSight).
+ Additional experience with Nastran, Abaqus, Hypermesh preferred.
+ Programming skills in Matlab, Python, and VBA desired.

This is a Contract position based out of Raymond, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
