**Job Title:** Production Technician
**Employment Type:** Full-Time
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate assembly and testing of components, maintaining technical proficiency, and supporting special projects to achieve organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
+ Properly test completed assemblies per specifications and procedures
+ Accurately and timely process jobs in the production tracking system (KBS)
+ Ensure the final assurance of accurate assembly of completed valves
+ Support special projects to reach organizational goals
+ Maintain technical proficiency for Walvoil components and systems
+ Complete assigned tasks and reports in a timely manner
+ Prepare for and actively participate in all departmental meetings
+ Practice and promote good housekeeping measures and support compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations
+ Document quality defects as found in the testing procedures
+ Provide support to Assembly Tech, Production Support, and Paint Tech
Essential Skills:
+ 2+ years of experience as an assembler/production technician
+ Mechanical inclination; experience with fluid power components is a plus
+ Ability to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 25-50 lbs
+ Comfortable handling oil/hydraulic fluid with apron and gloves
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Ability to utilize a computer for quality control and work orders
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+ Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
+ Experience with inspection, mechanical assembly, and blueprint reading

Work Environment:
The work environment is a climate-controlled facility with a 1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm. Once brought on direct, the schedule will shift to four 10-hour days from 5:00 am–3:30 pm, with either Monday or Friday off as determined with the contractor.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
